Solar PV Supervisor
Core Purpose
To execute the physical installation of rooftop solar systems, ensuring mechanical and electrical integrity according to scheme guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise the technician team to ensure workmanship quality.
- Conduct pre-installation site surveys and shadow analysis.
- Manage inventory at the site (modules, inverters, and BOS components).
- Coordinate with DISCOM officials for net-metering inspections and safety clearances.
- Ensure strict adherence to the Environmental and Social Management Framework (ESMF) of the PM Surya Ghar scheme.
Qualifications:
- Education: Diploma / BE in Electrical Engineering.
- Certification: SCGJ/NISE certified Solar PV Supervisor.
- Experience: 3+ years in solar project supervision or site management.
- Language: Kannada, English

Installation
Solar PV Technician (Installer)
Core Purpose
To execute the physical installation of rooftop solar systems, ensuring mechanical and electrical integrity according to scheme guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:
- Install module mounting structures (MMS) on various roof types (RCC, tin shade, etc.).
- Perform DC and AC wiring, including earthing and lightning arrestor installation.
- Ensure all installations follow the MNRE technical specifications and safety standards.
- Assist in system commissioning and testing (string voltage/current checks).
Qualifications:
- Education: ITI in Electrician, Wireman, or Electronics trade.
- Certification: Suryamitra Skill Development Certificate or Rooftop Solar Grid Engineer certificate from SIDH/NIMI.
- Experience: 1–2 years in electrical or solar installations.
- Language: Kannada, English (optional)
- Physical Requirement: Ability to work at heights and lift solar modules.

Design
Solar Design & Project Engineer
Core Purpose
To handle system design, performance modeling, and the documentation required for the national portal subsidy claims.

Key Responsibilities:
- Create 2D/3D layouts and single-line diagrams (SLD) for each rooftop project.
- Calculate expected generation using software like PVsyst, Helioscope, or SketchUp.
- Select appropriate BOS (Balance of System) components based on site specific needs.
- Prepare and upload project completion reports (PCR) and photos onto the PM Surya Ghar National Portal.
- Troubleshoot system performance issues during the 5-year O&M period.
Qualifications:
- Education: B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
- Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD and Solar Simulation tools.
- Experience: 2+ years in Solar PV design and project documentation.
- Language: Kannada, English
